Each yarn contains 50 grams (1.75oz) of 100% Baby Alpaca Wool. This alpaca yarn was handmade and dyed by artisans located in the northern altiplanic of Chile. Steven Morton provides high quality products in leather and alpaca, promoting the craftsmanship of native Chilean artisans who compete with large manufactures in price and production. Steven Morton trades with local indigenous, paying fair prices in all of its products, preserving the labor of talent artisans who have made their art an ancient traditions. Finally, this alpaca yarn has not been mixed with synthetic fibers or other wools. In short, we are 100% baby alpaca wool, not alpaca blend.
